Dropsonde indicates more or less that eye at 850 hPa has a slightly different position then at sea level. Sonde found max wind at 986 hPa (23 kt).

I find the NW jog/relocation to be quite interesting combined with the pressure drop. Flight level winds are increasing too. Matthew seems to have a lot of tricks up his sleeve.
