Magical thinking is so funny. Oooo if we wish its a catastrophe that's bad because it'll cause the catastrophe.

Hasn't the HPC taken over the watching and reporting of this system? It is not like the NHC just dumped the mid atlantic coast into darkness.

oh no please dont pay any attention to the models i was asking about them earlier and i was told to take them with a gain of salt, but i suppose that is becasue they didnt have anything headed toward FLORIDA... it if was headed there well hellloo things would be more of a concern

you know sandy, many people here have voiced their concern for your area, yet you continue to act as though noone has. I don't know what you are expecting.

We are all adults on here, can we please start acting like it. this is an excellent forum with a lot of very knowledgeable Pro's and amateurs on here it is time to can the state wars they are very unproductive. When Earl went by here we TSW in effect my strongest wind gust was 7mph, big deal am I suppose to cry and put down the NHC and everyone in Florida, because we are expecting TS force winds tomorrow night from a nameless storm. No different than a good ole Nor' Easter. If you just want to whine and argue there are other sites you can go to.

I'm lost here guys.
To further discuss what is happening along the mid-Atlantic coast...what thread are we using?
This is no longer a tropical entity.

Plus, we still do discuss a tropical entity if it is still affecting land, regardless of if it becomes extratropical or not. We've always left discussions up for other storms in the past.

Quick off-topic aside: those blue and green blooms at all the radar sites as night falls across the east and central US are thousands of migrating songbirds heading south! :D
