After cross referencing with previous flights, it seems that recon will reach the center of Paula around 12:50, but don't hold me to that lol.

Looks like recon is finding 75-80 knot surface winds depending on the reduction they are using.

They found surface winds of 90 kt.

80% at that level. The highest FL winds support 74 kt at the surface. (The SFMR is much higher though)

Eye temp decreased last pass through but pressure continues to fall. Also no remarks about a ragged eyewall this time.

Don't think I've ever seen that comment in all the years I've been tracking these storms :-) We've gone from an 8 mile ragged eye to 10 mile circular to 12 mile square. Something for everyone :-)

So far in this mission, the shear is relentless,over 40kts. Lets see as the plane goes down in latitude,how is the shear.
