Weather Underground almanac showing some 55 mph gusts...winds definitely have been increasing. I have a four year-old with her head buried under a bunch of pillows because the noise is scaring her. Just tried to open my front door and couldn't get it open, because of the force of the gust. I think winds are a little higher down here on the water than where they are recording them on base. I love these winds! Such a cool sound...Trying to talk my daughter into realizing how cool they are, too.

Well, no more videos from here for now though, my day has slowly got worst and worst with the ending factor of me getting underway. So yes, my first Tropical I get to see at see. Take that James, you think your so cool down on the Ryuku Islands there! LOL

Any ways, I'll still be here to post updates but no more videos. I'm sure everyone and okinawa will fair well with this storm, not to worried from here.

I can't stop cursing...That means the winds are really high...lol

I got some video, but it's dark and you can't see much...but you can hear - I think I had the camera sticking outside right when some of the worst gusts were hitting about 15 minutes ago. Will try to get it loaded in a little bit. Unfortunately, I think I was cursing on the video. LOL - I need to wash my mouth out with soap.

I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near this bad either...I can't even believe the wind gusts from this! Just recorded another gust close to 80, so I guess 92 mph was correct...still scary stuff. I wasn't expecting anything like this...HOLY CRAP!!! Stuff literally crashing outside and several things have slammed into the wall. I am almost afraid to go out and see the damage tomorrow...lights flickering still here.

My husband sent me a message on Facebook. There is a live wire down by a swimming pool right next to some USMC barracks. He's trying to get help and he's afraid they are going to lose power, too.

Gust to 81kts last ob

RODN 281232Z AUTO 16052G80KT 6000 R05/1100V1400 -RA BR BKN015 24/22 A2901 RMK AO2 PK WND 16080/1226 PRESFR SLP822 $

With current sustained at 41, definatly getting some high winds now there. Pressure also going in to a downward spiral. from 2901 to 2984 in a 10 minute period, that is incredible.
