Yeah, I think it's like an Atlantic storm making landfall in Canada.

This affects ocean areas: SUBTROPIC FORTIES and PACIFIC
AT 281800UTC
Low 978hPa, former Cyclone WILMA, near 36S 177E moving southeast 40kt.
1. Within 180 nautical miles of low in northeast semicircle: Clockwise 50kt at times.
2. Outside area 1 and within 360 nautical miles of low in sector from northwest through northeast to south: Clockwise 40kt.
3. Outside areas 1 and 2 and within 240 nautical miles of low in sector from south through west to northwest: Clockwise 40kt.
Storm and gale areas moving with low.
This warning cancels and replaces warning 508.

Issued at 7:24am Saturday 29 January 2011

Wilma is the closest approach to New Zealand since Severe Tropical Cyclone Ivy in 2003-04.
