So our feature off the SE US coast has become 93L. I have to admit I wasn't anticipating this designation so quickly by NHC. Looks to impact my region in about 24-36 hours.

If it would cross FL and move to LA and bring us some cooling rain we would really appreciate it.

Amen to that. We desperately need the rain here in NE FL and all over the state for that matter. Hopefully this system will provide some relief needed for sure.

I saw this on the water vapor loop sliding southwest and I wondered what it was? Almost has some outflow established already.

And the weak surface low is well NE of the convection, indicative of quite strong NE winds aloft. Too much shear for development, but could bring a few heavy showers to NE FL and/or SE GA tomorrow night/Thursday.

Looks like Ivan after it split in two and redeveloped....sure hope 93L tracks along the NGOM coast and dumps some rain on us....don't see this becoming a TC.....MGC
