Test test....testing for quote without the pic........lol.
Glad you all brought that to our attention. Bet I have done it in the past. Now I know!

I just looked using the quote button, but I couldn't tell what to click to keep from attaching image files etc. HELP!

When quoting a post with a image, remove [IMG] tags when quoting. When quoting just delete that portion of the text. If you have any questions please ask.

Is simple as when quoting a post with a image, remove [IMG] tags.

When you hit the quote button your box comes up for you to type and you see what the person wrote, and then you see IMG etc. Just delete the image part of the quote. Delete the part stating with IMG.
And leave the words of the person you are quoting. Sorta hard to explain but really easy to do. Hope that helps.....

Looks like a TD to me. Good banding, great outflow, deep convection, well-defined circulation. Wonder if they'll call it at 11.

I think they will wait for first visible images to then classify it.

If they wait till the first visible to upgrade, they may go straight to Jose, at the rate at which this is organizing. Strong convection over the center with a large spiral band to it's north, could be a tropical storm now.

It does really look organized and has well defined circulation with it now. I think they'll go straight to Jose with this one as well, too constructed to be called a TD.

So will they go with a "near 100% chance" at 2am or do you think they'll issue a special advisory?

90 %

SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES THAT SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE LOW PRESSURE AREA LOCATED ABOUT 350 MILES
WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS BECOMING
BETTER ORGANIZED...AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD BE FORMING. IF
CURRENT TRENDS CONTINUE... ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE INITIATED
LATER THIS MORNING.
THIS SYSTEM HAS A HIGH CHANCE...90
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS
AS IT MOVES WESTWARD OR WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

Convection has waned a bit near the center, but SAB at 0545Z was at T2.5.
