...DISTURBED WEATHER MOVING ACROSS THE MARSHALL ISLANDS...

AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER HAS DEVELOPED OVER THE EASTERN MARSHALL
ISLANDS...AND IS MOVING SLOWLY WESTWARD. HEAVY WEATHER COULD AFFECT
THE MARSHALL ISLANDS DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

RAIN WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES AND WINDS COULD GUST TO AROUND 30 MPH
NEAR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. HEAVY SEAS OF 5 TO 7 FEET ARE ALSO
LIKELY NEAR THE HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS.

PEOPLE PLANNING TO TRAVEL BY BOAT IN THE MARSHALL ISLANDS SHOULD
MONITOR THIS SITUATION. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT WITH REGARDS TO
INTER-ISLAND TRAVEL. ALL PEOPLE IN THE MARSHALL ISLANDS SHOULD
KEEP ALERT FOR ANY LATER STATEMENTS FROM LOCAL OFFICIALS AND THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
