what is the possibility this stalls out/moves erratically and slowly develops?

convection over the center, shear appears to have decreased but it's still present

In the ASCAT pass, there is some 40mph winds in the southern part of the storm.

Kind of cheering for this storm a little bit just because it is so small compared to some of the monster storms I have seen out there

It's now moving west to west-northwest in response to the southwestern periphery of the deep layered sub tropical ridge that also steered Soulik on its way to Taiwan..
