Another weak tropical low (05U) may form on Tuesday or Wednesday near 8S, between 100E and 105E. It is also unlikely to develop significantly, and should remain north of the forecast region for at least the next three days.

Likelihood of a system being a tropical cyclone in the Western Region on:
Tuesday:Very Low
Wednesday:Very Low
Thursday:Very Low

This might even be name-worthy by now. It’s looked good since last night.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

It's back! JTWC has restarted advisories, though the official RSMC, BoM, says there are no disturbances in their area of responsibility.
