To enter the new room with Java, click on this link:

http://www.esper.net/pjirc/storm2k.html

If you connect through mIRC or Pirch, you'll need to select the EsperNet server and then type: /join #Storm2k
If you have it set to automatically join the current Storm2k channel, go ahead and enter that way if you'd like. If in mIRC, click on File, then Select Server, and under "IRC Network:" find the EsperNet server and click on it.

windows.esper.net

After you enter the room you will get an automatic nickname. Please change your nick to your board nickname. To change that to the name you want type /nick your name (ie /nick CajunMama) when you enter the room.


If you have any problems, please reply and state your problem in as much detail as possible, and someone will help you as soon as possible.

I clicked that link but the appled didn't really load. It loaded the page, could tell something was loading, but nothing showed up.

http://www.mirc.com is what many of us use. i don't know if that'll work thru your school or not though.

Just a reminder for everyone including those who are in the way of this hurricane that chat is open at all times. Personally I will be in chat all night long ( I might take an hour nap at 2 or 3am), but there are others to answer questions. This is also an invite to all Pro Mets.
