This is just a reminder for everyone that the chatroom is open for everyone to discuss the upcoming round of advisories for all storms. When you do come in please change your nick by typing "/nick yournickname" minus the quotes.

Just click on the Chatroom link at the top of the page. You can change your name before you enter or after you enter the room by typing: /nick myname

If you connect through mIRC or Pirch, you'll need to select the EsperNet server and then type: /join #Storm2k
If in mIRC and you can't find our room, click on File, then Select Server, and under "IRC Network:" find the EsperNet server and click on it.

When you join chat though the link at the top of the page, please change you nickname when you join.

LMAO at the above graphic, as it isn't that hard to figure out how to change your nick (I did it on my first try in like 5 seconds).

I can't get access in Chatroom. It is showing :-

Can anybody suggest what can I do now?

I'm not sure what the problem is as it seems to be something on your end. I just tried connecting through Java and it worked fine and others have been coming in with Java as well.

Try connecting through mibbit:
http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23Storm2k&server=irc.esper.net


If you think you're going to chat with us very often, I recommend downloading mIRC. That's what I use and I love it. It's a much better chat client, but Java and mibbit aren't bad either. Hope to see you there!

Actually, D5 might bite, but he's not in chat much these days. Also, you might get a pie thrown at you. :wink:
