Station in Hatteras, NC recorded sustained winds of 41 knots, with winds gusting to 48 knots at 6:48 pm EDT. Cape Lookout, NC had sustained winds of 30 knots with gusts to 38 knots at 5 pm EDT.

My area isn't as dry as a lot of areas. Clay County went from a Drought Index of 542 pre Beryl, to 209 post Beryl.

You don't want to use those KBDI numbers, nor that map - the reason why is right there in that image - the KBDI process failed to run normally over the holiday weekend (isn't that when things always break down?) and the numbers have been off for much of this week. They've since been corrected. The situation is more like this:

Clay County's actual mean KBDI is 88, with a low value of 13 and 62% of the county below 100.
