it looks like one of those multiple LLC spinning around Saola's main circulation when you look at the visible satloop, located west of Luzon. Not that it means something significant but it just looks fun to observe and see if it will survive or be absorbed by Saola eventually...

seems like a very serious situation right now in Manila... Invest 97W now moving into the capital and looks more organized compared to a few hours ago... cyclonic rotation very evident on radar and many stations do report pressure drops of up to 2mb/hr... Manila Airport just gusted to 37kts and pressure now down to 996mb.. heavy rain will continue in the region looks like a very scary development right now..

this was consistantly spinning up this morning and being dragged towards Saola. well i didn't expect this to complicate things further.

this invest would eventually be a part of Saola i think, maybe early tomorrow? this and the wet southwest monsoon bringing hellish rains over Luzon, particularly here in Manila!

Meanwhile, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated in the vicinity of Subic, Zambales (14.7°N,120.1°E).
put below the post of Saola (Gener) by PAGASA. seems not very likely to get a name from PAGASA.

After affecting Metro Manila, 97W has been absorbed by Saola.
