As far as I can tell there is no clear low level circulation associated with the remnants of Isaac.

:uarrow: Is probably the best place to discuss this, but that's just my personal opinion.

We're looking at surface level winds, yes?

If you are referring to the one I posted (http://hint.fm/wind/), yes, that shows the surface winds. They have a computer program that picks up the wind speed and direction hourly (I believe it is) and creates the map.

All indications are that the area of interest members are discussing about what will get into the GOM is not Issac remnants as NHC released the 8 PM TWO and did not mention Issac. Go to the thread at Talking Tropics forum related to the area of concern.

It's confusing to say the least. We need more clarity from the NHC before we decide to call this still Isaac or a new system. Hopefully Dr. Knabb or someone else tweets or comments on what this really is.

Per NHC: Our view is that while this disturbance has some association with Isaac, the primary remnant of Isaac was a separate decaying circulation to the north of this one. Therefore, should this disturbance develop into a tropical cyclone it would get a new name.

.

Definitely something interesting happening in the Gulf with Isaac's remnants.

Appears Isaac has pulled a crazy Ivan. ;)
