I went through and looked at the advisory archive for this year. Counting both Atlantic and East Pacific storms, the NHC has issued at least one advisory every day since August 1! I'm not sure how that stacks up to other times, but the last time we had a day where the NHC did not issue at least one advisory was July 31st!

That means at least one advisory has been issued every day for the past 66 days (including October 5, because Oscar is still active)!

Nothing I say is intended to be a forecast; it's only food for thought and friendly advice!
