I think they are trying to decide if it is worth it. Models consistently say dissipation but it hasn't happened yet. I think it is likely there will be a post-season upgrade though...

At this point it is IMO. However, SAB and TAFB CI values are still 2.0.

Trust me, I am no where close to knowing what I am talking about so please do not take what I say as official info. I am not a professional nor do I play one on TV. I did however, stay at a Holiday Inn once! Have a great day!

It looks like the TD is still maintaining itself under Odile. You can see the circulation with a "smokestack" of convection coming from it still. It looks like this blob-n-swirl will landfall where Odile did.

That would just be a terrible situation in the recovery.

Well-defined circulation with deep convection firing up. Why no TD?

Interesting. Quick glance looks like a TC.

Yeah.

Southern Baja California got beat up pretty bad, and this would make it worse. I think it would be smart to send Recon here just to find out what's really going on.

I have never seen them send Recon out to an EPAC invest, but this would be an extraordinary situation.

Juliette 01 was upgraded to a TS based on Recon.

Was it ever able to be classifiable as a TS?

I am not a meteorologist, and any posts made by me are not official forecasts or to be interpreted as being intelligent. These posts are just my opinions and are probably silly opinions.
