Bones told me that Danny was brain-dead yesterday and was only alive due to artificial life support. He's pulled the plug.

I'm going to try and keep track of his vorticity as long as I can.

It's in the East Caribbean shock phase. It could refire once it adjusts. Not much left to it, but it could refire.

Though I'm guessing that we've seen the last of Danny as well, I have to admit too that I'm slightly suspicious of any remnant 500mb-850mb vorticity somehow popping up in 2-3 days. The fact that much of it will be tangling up with the islands lessons my overall concern. Then, it remains to be seen if 98L finally gets its act together as well. One thought is that any remaining vorticity from Danny, might simply be pulled into 98L's larger envelope as it treks WNW (and possibly into the South/Central Bahamas with time)

Yeah not sure but we hope like you said. What a drought in the EC. Worrying situation for some islands, often below the normal average of rainfall.

I could definitely see Puerto Rico getting rain from this one, seeing we are still close to dmin.
