Waiting on designated satellite and development percentage if they even bother.

Been watching this from a distance. Let's see what it can do over the next couple of days. I'm not gonna hold my breath the the NHC names it.

By the way, at Thursday's NHC webinar on new products and services for 2017, they said that the BAM models were being replaced by the TAB models for this season. I guess the switch to TABs on the invest model run wasn't ready yet.

I would assume that the NHC usually would put out a STWO if something was an invest, please correct me if I'm wrong

To me it appears to be rotating around a larger circulation.

Imagine if this is the first April TS since Ana!
Ah... I always think I'm not going to geek out and get overexcited and then by April I realize I was fooling myself. Even if nothing develops, seeing "ATL: INVEST" in a thread title brought back a weird sense of nostalgia.

I'm guessing any new features come out on or around May 15, 2017, the start of the EPAC season.

That's what I figured. Any of you hear of the "TAB" models that are replacing the BAMs this year? NHC was talking TABS, TABM, TABD in their webinar. I'm curious as to how the BAMs were changed.

Looks like there are a few naked rotating swirls, very little convection. What would support an increase in convection?

While development odds seem unlikely at this time, it's certainly not a bad look, especially for this time of year.

I agree, if this would have happened 3-4 weeks later, I would definitely think it would be subtropical
