It doesn’t help that the small anticyclone looks to be displaced to the SW of the storm. Also looks as if some mid-level shear is affecting it from the wnw.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Beryl downgraded to TS @ 11am.

That's also because Beryl is so small it has trouble diagnosing intensity

Not an meteorologist! Just someone who is interested in weather. Please refer to the NHC and local weather officials to make decisions.

Ouch!!! It got hit big time by dry air and northerly shear during the past few hours.

Beryl looks terrible this morning, with its low level circulation almost completely exposed. Tiny hurricanes like Beryl can unravel quickly, and it appears as though that's exactly what's going on. Will probably limp into the Caribbean just like Danny in 2015!

Would something like this be upgraded to a tropical storm? Probably not. NHC will only very slowly back off on the intensity (for continuity). It may still have a small pocket of 40 mph wind, but it's not a 65 mph TS.

Some squally weather for the islands but the big thing thankfully is,this is not another Irma or Maria.

11.9N / 50.6W. If it does still have any tropical storm-force winds, then they are located 10-12 miles north of the 6 mile-wide center.
