did shear drop by island a bit because kirk got cloth on? other question is oct suppose be Caribbean because look this year we will have alot shear as we do el nino season?

Convection catching up to Kirk's LLC because it slowed down this afternoon not that the strong UL winds have diminished.

Some parts of Barbados are now getting heavy rain. We're also getting some thunder.

The radar in Bridgetown is showing the squall line finally reaching the island. The rain brings the wind down so keep us updated!

Amazing still getting huge off-the-scale rain-rate cell despite the heavy shear and dissplaced vort column.
Never seen anything quite like it.

Still raining heavily here. We had some spectacular rapid-fire lightning up to several minutes ago too.

A weather station in Christ Church is reporting near 6 inches in 2.5 hours.
