I know Barbados radar is down, which one covers your area these days? I'm sure you've mentioned it, but I missed it

Is the center relocating on the radar?

It certainly looks that way to my eyes. But I'm not that au fait with radar imagery. Perhaps the mountains in St Lucia are causing reflectivity issues or something. I don't know.

EDIT: Actually, it is indeed moving southwest! The center can be seen on this SW IR loop: https://www.weathernerds.org/satellite/ ... ascatb=Off

Naked center looks to be losing latitude and not exactly following the model short-range guidance:

Crazy Kirk has lost his way. Very strange, I guess it is now been steered by lower level flow as the mid level is totally decoupled and the pressure is rising.

Weird - the lowest pressures are actually displaced from the center. 1006 in the center, 1002 just to the NW. Also, 55+ kt SFMR?

interesting motion. the islands have caused some localized troughing ( lee side). it will change overall track but wont change the shear lol. it would have to survive about 72 hours and make it to the western carrib. which means it has to keep developing this bursts of convection. the lower latitude might help in a couple days but right now it does not matter where its at.

Interaction with 355K PV has diminished overnight.
A bit more conducive in maintaining the vort column all though it is still heavily sheared.
Convection beginning to fire closer to the CoC now.

Reported about 10 inches of rain in Barbados. Water rescues occurred early this morning mainly in Christ church and st. Philip where water was reported to be almost 6 feet high in some areas.

Kirk's LLC is much weaker this morning, any TS force winds is probably well away from it. It has also resumed it WNW heading.

Obs across the islands don't indicate anything close to TS winds.
