That's kinda funny considering what toad strangler posted just seconds before you posted it.

What is the AED?

OuterBanker wrote:Of I remember correctly last night it was pretty much declared dead.

This morning someone pulled out the AED and zap it was alive.

Someone needs to grab the AED again.

Otherwise is code blue.

In this forum, probably Atlantic Energizing Discussion that occurs here on pretty much any borderline system, but generally the Automated External Defibrillators.

Mainly TD#3's convection disappears when the Florida seabreeze storms start popping up, but in the last several frames--as the mainland storms die down--there is new convection firing up toward the "center" of the TD. Layman wise, It's like the afternoon thunderstorms just took all the energy.

Yeah, the diurnal minimum hit it hard, was especially bad for TD 3 given how close to land it was. However, it's still likely to fire at least something during the diurnal maximum, most of this thread has forgotten about the cycle it seems

This post was probably an opinion of mine, and in no way is official. Please refer to http://www.hurricanes.gov for official tropical analysis and advisories.

Going by context, I'm thinking OuterBanker meant the defibrillator.

Probably won't happen, but I keep thinking I'll wake up tomorrow to a TS.

No downgrade yet on the TD but I think there's a quota by the NHC that has them issue a minimum of 3 advisories on a system. I don't think they ever issued only 2 advisories before.

Heads up as td3 possibly Chantal with the big blow up tonight moves away- another possible tropical system has been highlighted by NHC in the gulf that will move into the NE gulf and bring heavy rain to Florida

Well, here is Aric blow up of convection! Maybe a small chance as it is heading out for it to become a tropical storm.

Convective cap lifted overnight.
Mid-layer moistening from debris of afternoon popups over florida reignited convection.
Helped with outflow channel created by ULL to the east.

Big, high helicity Hot Tower fired around 11:30 UTC just east of the CoC.
Tons of lightning.

Looks like it'll hit the Trough around 30N.
WV Imagery indicates trough is weakening due to increased convection to the north and south.

Forecast path is now for less of a straight north track.
Minor strengthening is now expected IMHO.

The edge of that big blowup is producing a decent early morning lightning show to the north and east.

Well, TD 3 has responded to the Defibrilator this morning. We have a pulse (A convective blowup) early this morning.
