Incredible. 2 record breaking typhoons passing right over Tokyo in just a month. The world's most populous city.

This is from a livestream Tokyo camera I was watching, it frequently shows and updates the pressure, this is the lowest I've seen if it's reliable.
The time displayed is local time, so about 1201Z

Image

I can't compare it to Faxai though because during Faxai that livestream wasn't displaying things specifically pressure.

The stronger wind in Haneda is most likely caused by channeling since the airport is located in a bay.
It's also located in the right front quadrant of a NE moving typhoon.

This could have been historic, let's hope that impacts are not as bad as feared. Seems to have already caused 7 deaths, which could unfortunately rise

Hurricanes are an amazing natural phenomena. While many are spiraling pits of evil that kill people or cause devastation, some are tame and stay clear of land.

I wish for you to :Bcool:

Reports of a Panamanian ship sinking, 2 dead.

Death toll now at 26.

Even a nation as prepared as Japan cannot withstand mother nature. :(
