Irondro is finally starting to open its eye. While lopsided, it has plenty of deep CMG to CDG convection, so depending on how well that eye clears up, we could be looking at a Cat 3 or 4 system by tomorrow.

Microwave pass from ~2 hours ago shows an almost complete eyewall, with a bit of a gap in the NW quadrant and a much thicker SE quadrant: https://rammb-data.cira.colostate.edu/t ... 032002.gif

This morning's 0048Z SMAP pass indicates Irondro may already be the equivalent of a major hurricane. Hopefully we get another pass of Harold soon...
