If the broad low is moving West will it bring some rain to Corpus Christi? It is really dry and I don't want to pay for water if I can get it for free.

The little swirl is still there but naked :D

it is a funny system lol. it is still closed at the surface per the surface obs.

a convergence line is froming on the east side of the circ. would not be surprised to see it pop as the sun sets..

technically it should be moving NW. definitely ran out of time. had it started to get going during the overnight instead of sunrise..when the thermodynamics were better it probably would have been able to establish itself.

Just a trof axis heading for TX. Only 0.17" of rain in SW Houston. Not enough to do much. Hopefully we get more than that tonight/tomorrow.

About 0.50 inch this afternoon here near downtown. I think we have a much better chance at more significant rainfall with the second disturbance later this week and into the weekend.

I doubt SETX will get much of anything out of this.

A weak area of low pressure located over the northwestern Gulf of
Mexico is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Development of this system appears unlikely before it moves inland
over Texas later tonight or early Tuesday. Regardless of
development, locally heavy rainfall is expected over portions of
southeastern Texas and southern Louisiana during the next day or
two. These rains could result in localized flash flooding.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent.

Next!

A weak trough of low pressure has moved inland along the central and
upper Texas coasts. Although further weakening of this system is
expected, isolated heavy rainfall could still occur over portions of
southeastern Texas and southern Louisiana during the next day or
two. These rains could result in localized flash flooding.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent.

Getting 1998 vibes with these waves, looks like the one behind it will be similar and 1998 featured a lot of these types of waves with transient low pressures in late June through much of July.

Looks like the heaviest rain was SE of Houston and along the coast (at least so far)
