A storm is a storm is a storm. It's not a waste of a name if it's actually a tropical storm.

Odalys is now at 40 mph & 1002 MB

Expect the system to become just a swirl of low-level clouds either Tonight or Tomorrow.

Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

And it’s dead. Yet another pathetic EPac TS.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Last post before this is gone

Odalys became a Remnant Low at 7 PM CST

35 mph & 1005 MB

Odalys peaked at 50 mph & 1000 MB before decoupling because of strong wind shear & dry air

And nope. Certainly a pretty underwhelming EPAC season, but that's to be expected.

I’m pretty sure people were saying this back in September.

This season really underperformed thanks to La Niña.

The following post is NOT an official forecast and should not be used as such. It is just the opinion of the poster and may or may not be backed by sound meteorological data. It is NOT endorsed by storm2k.org.

Compared to 2010, it's much better.
