This one has my interest. The first BOM forecast shows it reaching Cat 3 on the Australian scale before making landfall very close to Port Hedland. No Tech Bulletin published yet so we don't know the exact intensity they're forecasting (could be anywhere from a Cat 1 to a Cat 3 on the SSHS scale).

Details of Tropical Low at 8:00 pm AWST:
Intensity: Tropical Low, sustained winds near the centre of 65 kilometres per hour with wind gusts to 95 kilometres per hour.

Location: within 75 kilometres of 16.5 degrees South 119.8 degrees East, estimated to be 305 kilometres west northwest of Broome and 445 kilometres north northeast of Port Hedland.

Movement: south at 13 kilometres per hour.

Tropical low (08U) is gradually intensifying as it moves in a southerly direction towards the east Pilbara coast. The tropical low is expected to intensify into a tropical cyclone early Friday and may reach Category 2 intensity late on Friday. The most likely path should take it across the coast in the vicinity of Eighty Mile Beach.
