The "FIST": Dennis just made it!

Dennis just made "THE FIST." A round explosion of convection in front or to the North of the center that in turn wraps around the center rapidly and forms the permanent eyewall. It is indicative of a hurricane about to experience rapid intensification. Bret, Opal, Ivan, Isabel, they all had the exact same thing happen to them before rapid intensification. Let's test the theory...

Looks like the "fist" is breaking off in the latest IR loop. Maybe Dennis is dropping off some "gifts" as he goes along?

That "fist" looks like it's twirling around the center as you look through the images. We'll see with the next report, but I think you're on to something. :eek:

Wow, this "fist" theory is truly amazing. I wonder if they're being conservative on the intensification forecasts. I think this could easily become a Cat. 4

"FIST's" or no "FIST's" Dennis just scares me... We had a psychiatric patient at work today freak out started screaming about Dennis saying it was going to be a storm like we have never seen before... etc... We tried to calm him but he kept on about "the storm".. "get prepared for impending doom" etc. We dont know how he got this information because we keep psychiatric patients away from news and news related things that might scare them or make them nervous. We are assuming he overheard some of the employees talking. But like one Doc said "maybe he knows something we don't"... However, from what I have seen about Dennis tonight it makes me wonder if the patient isnt on to something. And NO the patients name isn't JB lol

I have been sitting here watching that loop, my husband walked and so oh %$%#%$ it's got 2 eyes!!! I told him no it doesn't but if you look it does look like it. He doesn't look happy does he. :eek: :eek:

The NHC must have seen the "FIST" too.....

Perhaps he's on to something, or perhaps he's just on something.

That is kind of spooky though.
