2006 Season has arrived!!
Well I had some petitions by PM to post a countdown thread and here it is.But I know that some dont like to see it as they know it will be another active season and things may get rough for some in the Atlantic Basin but hopefully all go fish.Let's prepare for the worse but hope for the best is what we have to do.The numbers will change at 7:00 PM EST to coincide with 00:00z time.After the 2nd of April which is the start of daylight savings time the change will be at 8:00 PM EDT.

OMG. Here we start with the countdown to the 2006 Hurricane Season. Only 113 days to go. Does not seem that long away after the 2005 season.

I wonder what FEMA is doing to get ready. Resources are already spread out
very thin between here and south Florida.
I hope everyone makes sure to have their preparedness kits ready in MAY.
Post Katrina, I say at a minimum, food and water for seven days for each
person. The best choice is, as always, to evacuate.

That's too soon. Could someone delay it?
I would wish to delay the countdown but time is going to run ahead always.By the way time goes so fast that already one day has passed since I made this countdown thread now down to 112 days left.

Well its soon going to be here, 112 days and counting, to think it was only about 30 days ago that we recovered from the end of the 2005 season!!!

If this season is anything like the last one, I rekcon we'll be on the look-out for waves earlier then that!!!
