OMG. Here we start with the countdown to the 2006 Hurricane Season. Only 113 days to go. Does not seem that long away after the 2005 season.

113 days left to be ready.

I wonder what FEMA is doing to get ready. Resources are already spread out
very thin between here and south Florida.

I hope everyone makes sure to have their preparedness kits ready in MAY.
Post Katrina, I say at a minimum, food and water for seven days for each
person. The best choice is, as always, to evacuate.

That's too soon. Could someone delay it?

I finally just had an insurance aduster to my house...1 1/2 weeks ago and still waiting on the money. I had to go ahead and do some repairs, but others are waiting. Can't we skip a season?

I would wish to delay the countdown but time is going to run ahead always.By the way time goes so fast that already one day has passed since I made this countdown thread now down to 112 days left.

Ahh a countdown thread. Nothing could possibly generate more disappointment! If the season begins early, we feel as if the countdown is incomplete. If it doesn't begin until after June 1st, we feel cheated!

My friend time goes so fast that now it's 110.Without knowing it you will see that june 1 will arrive and the tracking will start unless something forms before that date.
