Hurricane Heather
Maximum Sustained Winds: 195 mph
Minimum Central Pressure: 838 mb

Tropical Depression 10 begins off the coast of Africa, becoming one of the farthest east developing tropical systems ever. The depression gains convection and moves south of the Cape Verde Islands, becoming Tropical Storm Heather. The storm moves east fairly rapidly. Heather gains strength due to slightly warmer SSTs and less wind shear affecting her. The hurricane remains a Category 1 for two days before strengthening further. Once the storm reaches the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, Heather is a highly dangerous Category 4 hurricane with 140 mph winds. Heather moves slightly north weakening to a Category 3 before undergoing an Eyewall Replacement Cycle that strengthens the hurricane back to a Category 4 with now 150 mph winds, and a 918 mb central pressure. The hurricane begins to stall over the Turks and Caicos before slowing drifting south near the coast of Haiti. It is unclear if Heather makes a brief landfall on the Haitian coast, but no matter what the death toll is extremely high. The interaction with the island of Hispanola weakened Heather down to a 120 mph Category 3. In addition to the land interaction, wind shear was on the increase. Heather weakened to a Category 2 while near the coast of Cuba. The following day, Heather clearly made a 'come back', stregthening back to a Category 4, and then a Category 5 when she was emerging into the Gulf of Mexico. Heather was forecasted to impact Louisiana, but gradually over the day, the forecasted landfall shifted eastward. Heather made another Eyewall Replacement Cycle, and briefly weakening. Heather reached peak intensity following the EWRC at 195 mph. A front began to accelerate Heather and she made landfall at Daulphin Island, Alabama. The storm quicly moved inland, passing Mobile, weakening to a Category 4 far, far inland near Coffeeville, Alabama. While a Cat. 4, Heather reached Birmingham, causing major damage. Before moving into Tennessee, Heather weakened to a Category 3. The storm reached tropical storm strength near the PA/NY border before becoming extratropical.
In all, Heather caused 27,911 deaths. About 89% of those were in Haiti. 7% was in the United States, 3% in the other Carribean islands/nations. Heather was the strongest tropical system ever, also being the deadliest disaster in Earth's history.

Thank you for sparing the Keys. :D

You copy the blank map to paint...mark on it there, and copy it to imageshack or photobucket.com or some other websites

Some here may be disappointed at response to their questions asking how to "mark up" the maps. To explain, it's like asking "how do I use a word processor" or "how do I use a spreadsheet?". You aren't going to get a satisfactory reply, because it's too complex a topic.

You need a graphics editor. Yes, PAINT is a rudimentary freebie from MS, while top-end Photoshop is out of almost everyone's price range for home use! There are some good ones in between, though. I use PhotoImpact, cost me $89. One word of caution, they are difficult to contact for support (unless you're in Japan), so you'll be on your own. :D
