On VIS SAT there is a CC circulation near 24N-92W. The ULL that has been shearing this system is weakening and moving off to the west into mexico. The ULL over central FL is also weakening and shearing out. The circulation center looks to be at the surface by viewing the low cloulds curving in from the north and south of it. That big convective blob to its east may contain a MLC but its too hard to note from SAT. I see conditions becoming gradually favorable for development but will it occur prior to moving on the TX coast?

Well if you look at the cloud pattern in the GOM around 90L
you can see the "look" of outflow developing around it. It definitely, in my opinion, looks better then it did yesterday. Who knows maybe it's just me.

Guess I'll just go back to posting on the GOM Depression thread in Talkin' Tropics then... I still believe this has plenty of life in it.

I agree that in the words of Shakespeare, the NRL's decision to take this off the invest list was a bit "o'er hasty." Shear in the Gulf has backed off a lot in the past day, and there even appears to be some sort of spin happening. I respect the NRL, but we must remember that they and the NHC dont decide when a storm forms, they report when it does.
