Member of the Month Nominations - read me :)

#1 Postby southerngale » Wed Dec 03, 2008 2:52 pm

Howdy, peeps! It's already time to send in your nominations for November's Member of the Month. Who stood out to you? Take a moment to drop me a PM with your nomination.

Let's try something new this month. If you're reading this now, don't close the thread. Think about who you want to nominate and do it now. A lot of people put it off to think about it, then forget. Just do it now, while it's on your mind. Ok? Image

Please read this entire post to see who is ineligible.

Please PM me with your choice for MOTM. Do not reply with your choice. Nominations must be for someone other than yourself. :)

I'll take nominations until Friday at 6pm cst.

Remember that staff members are no longer eligible for MOTM.

Here's a list of the previous Member of the Month winners who are ineligible.

October, 2008: Chacor
September, 2008: RL3AO
August, 2008: wxman57
July, 2008: MiamiensisWx
June, 2008: Derek Ortt
May, 2008: fact789
March/April, 2008: lurker_from_nc
February, 2008: AnnularCane

December, 2007: Brent
November, 2007: Cyclone1

If it's been over a year, previous winners are eligible again. For a complete list of previous MOTM winners, click here.

Pro met Wall Cloud from NWS AMA answered my question about trowels, baroclinic leafs and other winter type precip makers.

Not suggesting him, as per the rules above, just planting good ideas with the masses.

ETA: Jeff Linder was awfully informative for the SE Texans pre-Ike.

Just more suggestions.

3 nominations, actually. I couldn't decide who was most deserving.

Wall Cloud, Jeff, EWG.

Of the regular beer, I find Bud superior. For the light beers, Lite has the most flavor, Bud Light is acceptable, and Coors Light tastes like water.

I'm trying to lose weight before Christmas, and have sworn off beer until after sundown on December 24th.

How about these 3.....

Paychecks! Cheap gas! Mortgage paid (for this month anyway)!

Seems pretty accurate for December, 2008.

Seriously, I did PM you Kelly with a name.....LOL
