Hello all. We didn't receive any damage at all, a few inches of flooding in the street. Just woke up :)

Hi! The power just came back here and I'm able to access the internet again!

It seems that Mirinae directly hit our province (Batangas). 3 am local time is when the wind and rain are in their strongest. I woke up at this time and noticed the power already gone. I checked satellite images from a cell phone and saw in a ColorIR image that the storm is on Southern Tagalog (in which the province of Batangas belongs).

Luckily, no damage was done to our house. :D

hi everyone, it's good to know that this is all over. Marikina and Pasig (Ortigas) are safe, just few small trees bent down and many leaves on the ground. It appears that this system is not too strong for MM to handle... i hope its the same to STR of the philippines (Southern Tagalog Region)... i will be around... hopefully no more system to watch out going to us. thanks again ^^

So far, everyone looks ok. Good news all around, so far. Mirinae weakened a lot just before it moved over Manila. Thank god for your mountains. :)

I'm very glad to hear that overall the storm was not as bad as we were expecting and that it appears all members are safe and sound. Let's not forget though that Mirinae continues on its westward path with Vietnam in its crosshairs.
