-27F; we're on a warming trend!

Anyway, our -34F yesterday was actually 1 degree colder than the official nation's low in Minot ND. The official weather station here though is downtown and it only got down to -26F, so officially we weren't the coldest place in the nation.

vbhoutex I promised you snow as a birthday present so am doing my best (those turbines are running really smooth this year....going by the weather maps that showed the cold pouring down into the States from this province  ).

And I am eyeing lighter clothes.......indoors the buildings have yet to adjust to the warmer outside temps so we are roasting (time to ditch my sweater).

1 degree warmer this morning (heat wave) 19 degrees with a DP of 17. Higher dew points must have played a role in not let temps drop further.

Unless it gets colder by sunrise, -16F here and officially -13F downtown, which is much warmer than it has been. Even more encouraging, there is light at the end of the tunnel since by Wednesday morning it is forecasted to be above zero, possibly even for three nights in a row.

3F here in TUL this morning. I think we've finally hit bottom for this cold wave. Maybe above freezing this afternoon!

Not quite, but trust me. You'd be amazed how warm 0F feels after the -20's and 30's, especially if you do much walking outside. :)

Currently at 2:00 a.m., CST on Monday, January 11, 2010 the temperature is 28F with a forecasted low right before sunrise of 19F this morning. I'll believe it when I see it. I'm ready for some slightly warmer weather, overnight lows in the 40's.
