I will go ahead an predict a low of -42 for you next Tuesday morning. Seems like it's been a while since some good old fashioned -40's, and this next system may provide at least an opportunity for some 30 below readings.

We'll see. Last time it got that cold (-42F) was January 2007. Right now nothing even close to that cold is predicted for next week.

Anyway, I walk or bike to work every day and my wife is a school crossing guard so if it does get that cold, we'll feel it.

-10F at home (-5F at the official station); looks like we may be back in the -20's by Monday.

-25F this morning (-19F downtown). Tonight it is supposed to be -24F downtown, but I'm guessing it might get colder. I'm guessing we'll be in the -30F range:

-27F (-24F downtown) this morning. Nothing to show for it though as Hettinger ND beat us by one degree today for being the coldest spot in the nation.

A clear sky and little wind was the cause for the lowest temperature recorded in Puerto Rico in the past 3 years (52F in Adjuntas,in the center of the island)

Gotta love Minnesota.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34.

I got a sunburn yesterday when it was almost 90 out.

Ah, this thread is coming up again :)
Well, we had 58F this morning, nothing special.

I'd love to spend a winter in Minnesota, RL3AO cause I've never been thru temps like -30F.

In Minnesota here too; I am not very impressed with the approximate 60 degree difference between Saturday afternoon (high 80s/90) and tonight (predicting 25 for tonights low). Why can't we average that and have it be 55 or so all month? Saturday we were chugging water and putting on sunblock while watching my daughter in a parade, today I had to help cover my parents' tomato plants so we can (hopefully) get some more out of the garden before the "big" freeze .... or until we get tired of covering the garden and just let it go!

It's time to bumped this thread back up. :D

11F this morning, coldest so far this season, but not as cold as I thought it would be. Downtown was supposed to be 9F last night, which would usually put us at 2-7F on clear nights.

Only 39F here this morning in Pasco, Washington, but was 25F a couple days ago. This is cold for me, as we moved back to PHX this summer (from TUL) and had not unpacked any cool weather clothing before I had to go up here on a business trip!
