It isn't in left field. The 12Z Ukmet is similar to the 12Z Euro at hour 72. It looks like the NE US may get slammed by the 12Z Euro.

Are you kidding me??? This is a joke right....

Negative tilt pulls a freaking shortcut...

Question for 144....does it shot it off to the NE or does it suck it in like Sandy?

Well another healthy shift west in the next Euro run and that is into Florida. Based on the current model guidance i see, Florida does appear it would should get saved by a massive trough again.

If only the euro could be trusted this year. I guess now we watch run to run to see if it backs off this scenario. Good grief.

Yes and it is showing something similar to the Euro though slower and further to the north. Looks to be heading WNW or NW at 978MB:

Look at that ridge to the NE, very "Sandy-esque."

Okay guys, just because I want to BE a meteorologist, want to go to school for meteorology, DOES NOT MAKE ME A METEOROLOGIST. Anything I say about tropical weather is either me learning something new, or is just an opinion and nothing more than that. I can almost guarantee you that I will be wrong about pretty much everything.

The UKMET has a similar idea. The Euro is not alone on this one and it is within 5 days too.
