Matthew with 9.0 units and counting. Considering this is probably going to remain a healthy hurricane for at least a week, my prediction is 30-35 units.

I think it wouldn't be crazy to say that Matthew will get the Atlantic a bit above 100 ACE units....would it?

21z update is up for Atlantic and WPAC.Matthew has 12.4525 ACE units. Chaba can get plenty of ACE to lift WPAC and be there with EPAC.

03z update is up.Atlantic is in the normal category now. Matthew has risen to 14.1425 ACE units and plenty more to come.Chaba will be a SuperTyphoon so WPAC may catch EPAC.

Matthew has put forth a little over 17 units so far. That gets the Atlantic within 10 units of normal (normal is in the mid 80s to date)

17.395 is the latest ACE that Matthew has.WPAC closing fast on EPAC with Chaba.

Matthew will probably take the crown of most ACE of any storm in any basin (NHEM) this season to date eclipsing probably Lester in the EPAC
