...MARINE CONDITIONS VERY HAZARDOUS OVER YAP STATE AND THE REPUBLIC
OF PALAU...

STRONG WINDS AND LARGE WAVES HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA
AND WESTERN MICRONESIA. SATELLITE DERIVED WINDS INDICATE NORTHEAST
WINDS OF 20 TO 35 KNOTS OVER A LARGE AREA WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF THE
MARIANA ISLANDS THAT INCLUDES YAP STATE AND NORTHERN PALAU. COMBINED
SEAS IN THE RANGE OF AT LEAST 9 TO 12 FEET CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS
THIS AREA THROUGH SUNDAY OR MONDAY.

ALSO...AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER CENTERED NEAR 5N138E...WHICH IS
300 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KOROR AND 290 MILES SOUTH OF YAP...IS CAUSING
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN SEVERAL AREAS OVER PALAU AND SOUTHERN
YAP STATE. THIS DISTURBANCE IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT WESTWARD AND SLOWLY
DEVELOP DURING THE NEXT FEW DAYS. WEATHER WILL BE INCLEMENT FOR YAP
AND KOROR THIS WEEKEND...THEN SHOULD IMPROVE BY MONDAY OR TUESDAY.

TRAVEL...BE AWARE OF CURRENT MARINE CONDITIONS AND STAY INFORMED ON

EURO still bringing this very close to North Maluku and passing it over Molokai Indonesia with some slight development as it drifts south of Mindanao.

GFS has a very midget like system passing north of Molokai. Too small to be seen so using the closeup images shows a well defined TC possibly a tropical storm.
