Do you have a link?

I downloaded EarthCam to my cell. They have limited free coverage, but they have a St. Croix and San Juan cam and both are currently working. Who knows how long that will last...

Looks like spiral band will act as secondary eyewall soon.

The dynamics are interesting. Wonder if there's any relationship between outer NW quad arc clouds being spit out and the shorter term ERC probably about to soon take place??

Big 7.1 quake in Mexico.
Damage in Mexico City.

https://earthquake-report.com/2017/09/1 ... r-19-2017/

I hope that and Maria doesn't destabilize the Carib Plate.

Given the rapid improvement in structure, I wouldn't be surprised if Maria becomes stronger than Irma ever was...perhaps make a run at 900mb as well.

I remember Sandy setting one off in the Carib.

Other ones as well in the Carib and West Pac.

That would be a curious connection. 'Course, one could potentially draw the same concern with those faults that lie just east of P.R. as well?? On another note, whats happening on that map out west in S. California (just north of Baja)?? "Red dots" denoting some significant movement over there as well?

The airport on the US Virgin Islands is likely to be completely underwater. If you look at the map it's right on the water, on the south side of the island, with virtually no elevation.

LUIS do not let guard down, MARIA is a monter WIND CANE pretty amazing, take it seriously because of Guadeloupe have been HIT POUND seriously!
I'm tired 2 hours of sleep only, but i can assume that all who are in the path of MARIA to be EXTREMELY VIGILANT, some people of Guadeloupe said that winds were like reactor of a plane and i can personnaly tell you that winds are tremendous, rainfall had been extreme in some areas like Saint-Claude with 459 millimeters    BE PREPARED PR GOD WILL BLESS YOU AS THE OTHERS NEIGHBOURS i hope sincerely!
By the way i have no water in my locality, no TV, the satellite on the top of the building had been swept by the strong winds this morning as i'm in front of the sea only 20 meters from my balcon.
REGARDS
Gustywind very worry and sad of the others neighbours! This stuff is insane, nasty and unrealistic!  :( :(

Just means recent (within the last hour I think?) while other colors indicate last several hours or days. The ones in CA are just normal California life I believe. Check out the USGS live map, but there's always something shaking along the Pacific faults. https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/

maybe dadeland did in Andrew? Can't remember how many of those highrises were there then.

I used to live in a high rise in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and during Georges the building swayed. It felt more like a small bounce than swaying.

Cant possibly deepen as a warm core; a deepening barolclinic process perhaps?
