Decaying vortex inland over Florida
There appears to be a surface circulation heading west towards the Bahamas. Might be something to watch as convection is trying to bloom despite the shear. High pressure building along the eastern seaboard is pushing this westward. Anyhow, might be entertaining as we are in a lull in the tropics until the end of the month.

This is associated with the other (eastern) piece of the surface trough that I mentioned in the Yucatan/south FL thread yesterday, having deformed to the point where it split in two a couple days ago.

Yeah, I noticed that after I entered it....merge them if fits better there.

Nah, it's a separate entity now. Probably not going to do anything either, but discussing it separately is the way to go here.
