Upon further review, ok now seeing some good flow near San Saba and Menard.
ALso, seems that Mabry. (KATT) has been not reporting for over a day now?

So far in the land that rain forgot, west of Austin in Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Wimberley area a scant 1/16 of an inch since Thursday - not even enough to wash the pollen off the car.

Hoping later today/tonight, tomorrow we get something to at least settle the dust for awhile.

Maybe a win for the metro as a whole but not all got in on much of the action. My hood only got a little downpour yesterday, not enough to do much. The rain litterally split in half bypassing this area of Austin completly today. Only a couple of drops. We need widespread full coverage rainfall to really help. This was not widespread but those that got lucky got healthy amounts while those like me got very little. Pretty irritating as several of my large trees are stressed.

Yeah, a measly 0.08" for me down in South Austin. Broke my 32 days of 0.00".

Up to 2.15 IMBY after a nice maybe final storm just came through. This event made up for multiple fails earlier in summer.

I’m happy that some of y’all are seeing significant rain but could you kindly send some up this way. Not a drop here yet.

Gotten almost 2 inches out of the event. Over what was predicted for my area. We may get a little more before the high reestablishes itself. Very thankful. Sorry for those who missed out. I didn't get a thing until yesterday evening, now up to two inches. Still some time.

Between 1.5 and 1.75 inches is what I could do here. I'll take it.;)

Now I guess we wait another month or so for measurable rain to fall again. Already looking forward to whenever that is.

Awesome! I've been wondering about you, based on your zero rain posts. I saw that stuff headed that direction from central Texas early this morning. Every drop in mid-August helps.

Thankfully it made it here. During every drought I always wonder why I chose to make a living that is dependent on the weather. This rain is a blessing and extremely beneficial.

Well that is pretty much that for rain. Now we need to peer into the crystal ball to see when the next significant chance will come. Not anytime soon that's for sure.
