Monster off African coast.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Monster off African coast.

#1 Postby OuterBanker » Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:58 am

Catch it while you can but there is a monster emerging from the African coast at the moment.

I know it is way to early and too low (around 5° North) but it is interesting because of the warmer water temps it has expanded and built heights instead of dying once it exited.

Probably no indication of what will happen during the CV season.

But, there really isn't anything else to talk about anyway.

Not too surprising given perennially warm SSTs that far south, and I'm predicting another strong monsoon season
