Re: Are you on any NHC naming list?
Between 1959 to 2011 my name was used for a TS and/or Hurricane nine times. I'll be returning for the 2023 season.

Yaaaaaaaay did you think of any others?
I'm honestly surprised you didn't think I was a girl just because of my avatar. I dedicated it to my big sister who loved the color pink

i am.
east pacific, 2018. (lane)
to be fair i was a little surprised to find myself on the naming lists, especially for the north american region. i never thought my name would be used for a cyclone anywhere in the world, never mind in the south pacific/aussie region!
what about you?
I'm also on the 2018 EPAC list. My name was used 8 times between 1978 and 2018, 3 tropical storms, 4 category 3s and 1 category 4. So you could say my name total is 8/5/5 lol

My first name is on the EPAC list in 2023 - Kenneth
My middle name, Ryan, has only been used in the Western Pacific
My aunt's name is retired, Jeanne.
I have a cousin who has the alternate spelling of Elena, Alena.

Re: Are you on any NHC naming list?
I almost share a name with Hurricane Lenny, but my name is spelled slightly differently.
People nonetheless at the time still pointed to it in newspaper headlines and said “hey look it’s you.” I will admit, going completely in the opposite direction from everyone else is sort of my thing.
Though in my case it’s more of a “I wasn’t paying attention” than an unusual steering pattern.

I know I can't straddle the atmosphere...just a tiny storm in your teacup, girl.
Re: Are you on any NHC naming list?
Well, my name will certainly not pop up on any NHC list ever again LOL (Andrew). I suppose a Spanish translation "Andres" is a future possibility, though not quite the same. Hmmm, maybe Andy though??

Andres is an EPAC name, so you do have that. Just have to wait till 2021. Also, there's Andrea...

I'll have to keep an eye on 2021 then. As for Andrea......, hmmm, that might be a stretch for me to take any claim to fame

I am waiting for the year that Pokemon names are used for the naming list.
Who knows anything is possible when the millennials take over naming rights, but anyways I digress.
Well that statement didn’t work out last year
