The line east of the cell with the tornado warning produced big gusts of winds and knocked out power to the street lights just north of Vinoy Park on Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg 10 minutes ago.

The warned cell moved onshore right near Madeira Beach with radar velocities around 50mph, probably some minor damage with that

rotation has increased markedly over Seminole right now per Bay News 9, hopefully this doesn't hold together over the next hour as it could threaten me in Safety Harbor

Looks like some red showing up on radar near Dunedin heading north. Seems that new heavy rains are developing and with frictional effects of land, new vorticities might form. Just a wait and see at this point.

Pinellas really sticks out and is geographically vulnerable in a situation like this...they stick out into the more unstable marine layer

So far just light rain and light breezes here in Tallahassee. Got plenty of books and movies for tonight and tomorrow. The next band is rolling in. I imagine things will get a bit more blustery in this one.
