Now that Arthur formed,let's see what the peeps think about the second named storm will form. Poll will close on May 24 at 1:41 PM EDT.

Voted June 1-10, there appears to be a MJO/CCKW starting over the Indian Ocean, and we will likely need to watch for CAG formation once the MJO enters phase 8/1. So far I have been wrong on every poll like this though.

I was originally thinking July (not sure why though...maybe 2008 on the brain?), but now I think I'll go with June, although I'm not sure what date range.

I voted June 1-10th. I think we'll manage to pull off 2 storms in June.
I'll throw in Cristobal for June 11-20th as a bonus vote.

I can’t decide between a dead June like 2018 and 2019, or an early June system forming in the Gulf or western Caribbean due to that Kelvin wave.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

I'm going with the first week of June in the NW Caribbean, from there it'll head NE towards Florida.

Between May 18 and June 10. A monsoon spin develops over Central America from a Kelvin Wave.

Got Arthur right with a May prediction. Going June 1-10 for Bertha. Likely a CAG spawned system.

GFS is popping around the 10 day mark - I think we'll see something May 30/31
