These memes are great way to lighten the mood here while Sally is begging to cause terror in the gulf

Enjoy this gem :ggreen: I recommend watching the satellite of Vicky while this plays in the background :cheesy:

This is the only thread for Vicky that I saw. Is there one for models?

Vicky is beginning to fall apart now. The LLC is racing northwest and the convection has little banding. Probably will be a depression by 11 pm if it can’t build new convection soon.

LLC is definitely well defined now but is associated with almost no nearby convection. Meets TC criterion by only a small margin imo; should be very short lived

Colors of lost purpose on the canvas of irrelevance

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

Way down (still marked for 21). But it's pretty pointless now since Vicky's life should be a short one.

Icky Vicky does not want to die. That firing convection got her up to 45 kt/1000 mbar.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

How long can Vicky survive? It's literally being blasted by shear but Omar held on for a while in it.

Well Vicky refuses to die. Back up to 50 mph though it seems to be an adjustment instead of it restrengthening...

I'm guessing Vicky's peak intensity is going up in post-analysis to 50-55 kt.

She's desperate to get us back to 5 storms with 98L or 99L...

It gives me the image of Teddy hosing her down with a flamethrower to the face. Pretty wild!

so pretty soon, she should be swallowed by Teddy, if things hold on for a day or two. Has there ever been a true Fujiwhara (sp??) effect in the Atlantic Basin?
