CMC keeps it hanging around Northern Mexico/Extreme Southern Texas. Unreal, this season.

Quite a spread in 12z guidance, GFS takes it to New Orleans, CMC has it hover off the coast of extreme south Texas, northern Mexico. Will be curious to see what UKMET and the Euro go with.

12Z GEFS has many of the 21 members go into MX. However, similar to the 6Z, it has ~20% of the members coming into or near LA.

12z HWRF develops a teeny tiny TC out of this in 36-42 hours.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

The HWRF, with the way it has been performing, absolutely gets my attention. Far too soon (especially this season) to focus on a track or landfall location but I'll pay close attention the strength from the HWRF.

Looking at the end of the HWRF, I wonder of it re-emerges into the GoM after raking across Louisiana, then over Houston.
