I'm in Shore Acres and it's really coming down now too here. Winds and rains have really picked up in the last 30 minutes or so.

Get pounded for the last hour in Pinellas Met said 5 inches but very likely higher than that. Looks like we are very close to the eastern eyewall. May come on shore.

The 2020 October Ice storm gave a LOT of rain, when it melted, it was 4.45 inches on my rain guage that never broke!

Yeah me too, thanks! Oddly enough we lost power over the weekend when a tree came down but the power company came out in force and trimmed a lot of the big trees Saturday and Sunday. I'm really hopeful as well.
So far the street flooding isn't too terrible but we don't have high tide for a few hours still.

Highest winds occurring right now in Northern Pinellas Co. about 50 + mph.
Torrential rains, would call this a Full TS not wimping out.

LONNNNNNGGGGGG time lurker....first post.
I live on open water on Upper Tampa Bay. Water is about 2 feet from breaching seawall. It has been higher on a few occasions...a few no name storms and 2004. High tide is close to 1a.m so at this point, I think we will see water up into the back yard and could get into the first floor. A friend of mine lives on the inner coast in a condo in Clearwater. Says back yards across the intercoastal have water up to the houses in some areas.
Steady winds are about 30...a few gusts at 40-50.....

I actually didn't get much ice from that, hardly any. Got a crap ton of rain though
